Whitesand Works, Inc. was originally formed by Jon Vielhaber in April, 1996. Whitesand was originally known as Vielhaber Consulting and was later incorporated as JVNetworks, Inc. in February, 1998. As the company continued to expand, JVNetworks was split into three companies in January 2001. Each company was formed to focus on a core development area. Whitesand Works, Inc. was formed as a shell company for the other companies. Whitesand NetWorks, Inc. was formed to provide network outsourcing services. Whitesand WebWorks, Inc. was formed to provide web development and hosting services.
