Jonathan P. Vielhaber, a native of Akron, OH, graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. While attending college, Jon interned with Merck Pharmaceuticals in West Point, PA as a programmer. Jon developed several internal automation applications and industry published programs during his 2 years with Merck. His work on the NONMEM project has been published in several scientific journals. After graduation, Jon joined Somerset Pharmaceuticals in Tampa, FL as the director of IT. Jon was instrumental in the setup and operations of three facilities in Tampa, including a GMP laboratory. His work encompassed all of the computer operations for the company, including following CFR Part 11, GMP/GLP, and other FDA regulations.. | | In 1998, Jon founded JVNetworks, Inc., a network consulting, application development and Internet development company serving pharmaceutical and the small business markets in the Tampa Bay area. The company was later split into three companies, Whitesand Works, Inc., Whitesand NetWorks, Inc., and Whitesand WebWorks, Inc., to better reflect their core business offerings. The companies have continued to grow and expand. They currently support businesses, political campaigns and government agencies across the United States and Canada. Jon has continued to be actively involved in all of his companies, overseeing and contributing to their continued growth and success. Over the past few years, Jon and his companies have been instrumental in the filing of two electronic NDAs to the FDA, as well as worked on and with three U.S. Presidential Campaigns, U.S. Senate Campaigns, U.S. Congressional Campaigns, state Governor's Campaigns, and large city governments.
